Dr. Caroline Danda is a licensed child psychologist with over 20 years of experience who is passionate about empowering kids, teens, and families to overcome challenges and build resilience. She specializes in supporting kids and teens with "big emotions," with expertise in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD behavioral issues. Dr. Danda's evidence-based approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and neuroscience focusing on the mind-body connection. Cornerstones of treatment include education and collaboration with parents/caregivers.
With 20 years of experience as a child psychologist and as a mother of three, Dr. Danda has real-world experience that fosters a compassionate environment rooted in empathy. Although she uses evidence-based therapies, she tailors them to meet the unique needs of her clients. She enjoys sharing her wisdom and expertise outside of beyond her practice through engaging workshops, professional trainings, and writing.
Dr. Danda co-authored "From Surviving to Vibing," which offers a glimpse into the world of today's youth along with practical, resilience-building strategies. Her diverse training - graduate studies at the University of Florida, an internship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City focusing on developmental/behavioral sciences, and a behavioral pediatrics/gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Kansas, solidified a holistic, biopsychosocial perspective.
